Will Tiger Woods triumph on the PGA Tour once more?
What is ahead for 2024 following the PNC Championship?
Tiger Woods, a 15-time major champion, has targeted a "tournament a month" in 2024 after last playing a full PGA Tour schedule in 2019. To cap off another injury-plagued year, Woods participated in the Hero World Challenge and PNC Championship.
Tiger showed promise in his two return performances this month and has set his eyes on contending for a record-breaking 83rd PGA Tour victory in 2024.
After withdrawing from The Masters in April, Woods had his first start after undergoing ankle surgery, finishing 18th at the Hero World Challenge. He subsequently teamed up with his son Charlie to tie for fifth place at the PNC Championship.
Following career-threatening leg and ankle injuries sustained in a car crash in February 2021, the 47-year-old said earlier this month that he was aiming for 'a tournament a month' the following season. Despite this setback, Woods has only participated in four majors and one full-field PGA Tour event.
