Junior Golf Day at Bonnyton Golf Club

On Sunday, August 11, 2024, Bonnyton Golf Club held its highly anticipated Adult & Junior Member Golf Competition, and it turned out to be an unforgettable day of fun, family, and fantastic golf!

The format was a 9-hole team competition, with each team comprising a parent or grandparent and their child. The sun was shining, the atmosphere was buzzing, and the smiles were contagious as teams took to the course for a day of friendly competition.

Before the competition even started, participants enjoyed a delicious BBQ, bringing everyone together for some mouthwatering food and camaraderie. Families shared stories, caught up with friends, and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere before the golfing action kicked off.

Once on the course, the teams gave it their all, showcasing impressive skills and teamwork. Craig and Nathan Chalmers emerged victorious with a superb net score of 37, earning them 1st place. A big congratulations to them for their excellent performance!

In a close second, Nate and Jonny Hecht finished with a net score of 39, demonstrating fantastic teamwork and skill. Well done to both for their efforts!

Special recognition goes to Marcus Wynne, who managed to hit the closest to the pin on the 9th hole—a feat that earned him well-deserved applause!
