This is a fantastic opportunity to provide catering and bar facilities in a busy and popular club. You will operate independently; we will give you the kitchen and the bar. There is also a 2 bedroomed flat, available onsite.
In return we are looking for enthusiasm and passion in delivering excellent service and food. We would welcome innovative and new approaches to the service the club offers. The clubhouse is open 7 days a week and has a well-equipped kitchen, a main bar area, dining capacity for 100 people and a separate small private meeting room / dining facility. There are also outside decking areas offering additional seating, the latest overlooking the 18th, Green along with a half-way house on the course.
Catering services will include: cooked meals, hot and cold sandwiches and snacks. Day to day catering (varying hours depending on the time of year) team matches, golf societies and visiting party meals. Club social functions including formal dinners. Our present caterers have been very successful in establishing themselves but have now decided that they wish to go and operate in Spain.
Ideally the successful candidate(s) would be able to demonstrate the following:
• Proven track record in Catering and Bar Management experience of at least 3 years;
• Good communication skills with high focus on customer service to both members and visitors;
• Proven ability to lead, train and manage a team;
• Work effectively with the club management;
• Health & Safety and Food Hygiene experience with up-to-date certification;
• Being conversant with licensing laws and competent in cellar management;
• Full, clean, driving licence.
