Prior to defending his Open championship, Cameron Smith
successfully defends his LIV Golf London title.
Cameron Smith won the LIV Golf competition at the Centurion
Club in London on Sunday while competing in his penultimate competition before
defending his Open Championship title later this month. Smith overcame a final-hole
bogey.
Marc Leishman of Australia and American Patrick Reed of the
Ripper Golf Club both scored 3-under 68 to finish at 15 under par, one stroke
behind the Australian.
On the front nine, Smith had three birdies (Nos. 2, 3, and
8) and one bogey (No. 5). On the back nine, birdies were made at holes 10, 13,
and 17.
