Bonnyton Golf Club welcomes new Members in a range of categories depending on age and playing commitment. We currently have vacancies in a number of Membership categories.

Full Membership

Open to golfers aged 30 years and over

Features:

  • Unrestricted access to the course
  • Full use of clubhouse
  • Establish official SGU handicap
  • Entry to organised competitions
  • 6 free playing guests per year
  • Privileges at other courses

Associate Membership

Open to golfers aged 30 years and over

  • Full use of clubhouse

Junior Membership

Open to golfers aged from 9 to 17

Features:

  • Restricted access to the course
    (see below for playing times)
  • Use of Juniors' lounge
  • Establish official SGU handicap
  • Entry to organised junior competitions
  • Juniors must transfer to Youth Membership at 18 years of age

Youth Membership

Open to golfers aged 18 to 29

Features:

  • Unrestricted access to the course
  • Otherwise as Junior Membership
  • Must transfer to Full Membership at age 30

Country Membership

For golfers who live at least 100 miles from Bonnyton

Features:

  • Play up to 12 rounds of golf per year
  • Entry to Medal competitions (not eligible to win)
  • Sign in up to 3 guests at a time

Social Membership

Non-playing membership with unrestricted access to Clubhouse

  • Unrestricted access to the Clubhouse facilities
  • Sign in any number of guests for social purposes only

Anyone interested in joining Bonnyton Golf Club should first complete an application form - this can be obtained from the Club by calling 01355 303030 or a printable form can be downloaded here.

Candidates must be proposed and seconded by two existing Full Members of at least 2 years standing, failing which letters of reference should be submitted to the Club office.

Applicants are invited to an interview with the Membership Committee. If considered suitable, the candidate will be asked to remit the relevant fees upon receipt of which the applicant will be admitted to membership.


Playing Times

Full, Life, Youth & Concessions

Play allowed any day from 7.30am
(summer) or 8.00am (winter) except Wednesdays (summer) when no starting is allowed between 9.30am and 10.15am (Ladies' Medal)

Associate

Summer 
Saturday: no play before 2.00pm
Sunday: no play before 3.00pm
Sunday Medals: play after 1.00pm
Tuesday: tee-off up to 4.00pm
Other days: tee-off up to 5.30pm

Winter 
Weekends: no play before 1.00pm

Statutory and Monday Holidays
Play after 11.00am

Juniors

Summer 
Monday: play all day
Tuesday: play after 7.00pm
(Juniors with single-figure handicaps can play in Gents Optional Medals after 11.00am)
Wed., Thurs., Fri.: play all day
Saturday: play after 2.30pm
Sunday: play after 3.00pm

Winter 
Mon, Wed, Thurs and Fri: 8.30am - 4.30pm
Sat. & Sun.: play after 11.00am
Tuesday: no play allowed
